full body skin lesion monitoring solutions

State-of-the-art total body photography (TBP), computer vision pipelines, and user-centered software to revolutionize clinical diagnostics and documentation.

Fully Automated Mole Mapping

Early-stage skin cancers often lack obvious clinical signs and may resemble benign atypical nevi. Accurate identification requires monitoring of subtle changes in color, size, texture, and border irregularity. Traditionally, such longitudinal tracking has been labor-intensive and limited to high-risk patients. Lumo Imaging offering combines ultra-high-resolution full-body imaging (LumoScanner) with automated lesion tracking (LumoTrack), offering fully automated cost-effective total body skin surveillance.

Our Mission

To help dermatologists detect skin cancers at an earlier stage by monitoring undesirable transformation of the skin lesions.

Our Vision

Lumo imaging is aiming to provide the healthcare system with a highly sensitive, specific, and economical means of providing annual skin cancer screening to all at-risk individuals.

A scanning system that can photographs close to the entire skin surface of the patient, archive the images and visualize the capture images. The LumoScanner System is comprised of the LumoScanner hardware, LumoCrunch image processing software and LumoDoc scan visualization software.

LumoScanner hardware

During each scan, LumoScanner’s six (6) very high resolution (64MP) cameras collectively capture 360 images. More

LumoCrunch

This cloud software uses the 2D images from the scanner as input, processes them and outputs a 3D DICOM file for future. More

LumoDoc

LumoDoc is full-featured cloud-based (Zero footprint) TBP DICOM viewer that can fetch DICOM files from the DICOM. More
LumoTrack is a Clinical Decision Support Device (CDS) software that provides the Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) with the locations of lesions that fit a clinician provided criteria.  Often the criteria provided by the clinician is temporal in nature.  Therefore for every lesion found by LumoScanner in a newer scan, the LumoTrack typically finds the corresponding lesion in a previous scan.
For example a clinician may ask for all lesions with more than 10% change in size AND asymmetry.  With LumoTracks AI capability, the clinician may also ask for top 50 lesions with suspicious transformations. The clinician will also have the opportunity to update the lesion correspondences. In order for the Lumo Track CDS to make its recommendation, following the lesion correspondence.

Flacara systems consists of a cell-phone attachment and a Flacara cell-phone app.

The attachment is only there to occlude all ambient light and to illuminate the lesion in a controlled manner and possibly cross-polarize the light that returns to the iPhone.

Flacara app is mainly to guide the clinician with capturing the initial or follow-up images of the lesions and to receive decision support guidance from Lumo’s powerful lesions analysis technology.

Flacara System is a noninvasive skin imaging software is indicated for capturing lesion images by a trained medical practitioner or by a patient for transmitting to a trained medical practitioner. Though the AI clinical decision component is only available to the healthcare professionals.

The Flacara comparison module provides for side-by-side comparison of the closeup images from two instances of the same lesion and provide the features values for the two instances .
